DUEL IN THE POOL ’14
What a great meet!! Wonderful colour and cheering from all our teams. Especially terrific to have all Gippsland Development Squads in attendance as well as a talented team from Melbourne Vicentre adding greatly to the racing.
Congratulations to the GREEN team – ably coached by Dean Gooch and captained by Erin Roberts and Matt Jennings. In a very close finish the green team squeaked home by a mere 8 points over the RED team coached by Donna Rowand and captained by Caiden Gill and Fabienne Schoutens. It doesn’t get much closer than that after 40 races of 50m events and 4 ‘special’ events! Congratulations! Blue team was third and Yellow came fourth. A great day of enthusiastic racing.
