The District has a proud record of achievement in Country Inter District Competition – having won the 7 – 10 Encouragement Event and the Country Inter District Event for several consecutive years.
Gippsland Swimming held their first AGM in 1957 and since that time the Association has been involved in the development of swimming for the people of Gippsland.
We strive to administer, promote and encourage learn to swim, water safety and competitive swimming.
Our Association is made up of swimming clubs from south eastern Victoria. We work as a team to provide professionally organised events throughout the year so swimmers of all ages have the opportunity to improve and compete in the sport.
The Association trains and qualifies officials in the District enhancing and maintaining their level of skills and knowledge.
Making use of the best resources the State and District offers, we provide an extensive Swimmer Development program which gives our clubs opportunities to develop coaching and swimming skills.
As a District we aim to provide an environment that will provide our members with the ability to reach their goals.
As the premiere District in country Victoria we lead the way in the pool and try and set the standard out of the pool.
Currently there are 7 Affiliated clubs in Gippsland District 21: East Gippsland Water Dragons, Moe, Morwell, Sale, South Gippsland Bass, Traralgon and Warragul for information regarding these clubs go to the links page
