Duel in the Pool

OFFICIALS 10:30am,    MARSHALLING 10.45am,        COMMENCES 11.00am.   SWIMMERS 9:30am

1. Swimmers compete as members of teams – Red, Green, Blue and Yellow – rather than as members of Gippsland teams. Teams are selected based on entries with attention given to even teams.
2. Team captains will be chosen based on entries.
3. Entries as usual online.  Swimmers enter only form events; times are essential.
4. Teams, Team Captains and Coaches named on GSI website. Swimmers will be given caps corresponding to their team. Swimmers may not wear racing suits, jammers, etc. Only standard training bathers may be worn.
5. Point scores for form strokes – 22 for 1st, 18 for 2nd down to 2 for 10th
6. Points for Special Events – 1st 100pts, 2nd 60pts, 3rd 40pts, 4th 20pts.
7. No ribbons awarded on the day.
8. Meet begins at 11:00/11:30 with swimmers required at the pool by 9:30 for team meetings and strategy session with coaches and team captains.
9. Entries due online by Monday 3rd October
10. DUEL IN THE POOL trophy engraved with winning Team Captains to remain at the Traralgon Swimming Club Rooms
11. Swimmers restricted to only two “Special Events” on behalf of their team
12. Special events to be announced – see GSI website

SWIMMERS PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DON’T FEEL SAFE DIVING IN YOU MAY START IN THE WATER.
